Mercy House Minneapolis

Founded in 2014 by a few women in Minnesota, Mercy House is a Christian, non-profit organization designed to help women experiencing challenging life circumstances find a nurturing community to grow in maturity and their relationship with Jesus Christ. 

Mercy House Minneapolis provides housing and support for approximately 5 women at any given time. Our organization is centered on the Gospel of Jesus Christ which transforms the hearts of those who believe. At Mercy House Minneapolis, we believe that by providing a place of nurturing and support for women who have experience so many challenges through out their lives is a powerful force for growth. Our program focuses on caring for the whole woman. Women will work with our staff to create an Individualized Action Plan for their time at Mercy House and receive one on one support to work toward their goals. For us at Mercy House, the true change comes when women experience the transforming work of Jesus Christ in their lives. We believe this change will flow over into all other areas of their lives. Women may receive support working on reconnecting with children, learning job skills, and many other practical services.
